Lagos Waka – Freedom Park

Hi dears, how has your weekend been?now i know it’s typical to attend weddings, get togethers or parties of any sort during the weekend as some people see it as a way to unwind, anyway if you didn’t attend any it’s okay because I didn’t too.

I was invited for an art exhibition at the Muson centre, onikan which was organized by the Vason group. It was my first time at such a function and i really loved the atmosphere, I kind of felt like an elite as the paintings don’t come cheap. ;)😝
The art work was really impressive, I took a few pictures.
IMG_20151017_172117After the exhibit I went ahead to freedom Park (still on the island), it was also my first time there, apparently the park used to be a jail.
The Vason group has an art gallery there, you can check it out if you do visit.
The park is really beautiful I didn’t know such a place existed till yesterday, the entrance fee is two hundred naira but I paid five hundred naira because it was felabration week and there were bands doing the afro beat thingy. The prestigious Tee Mac was also present along with some foreign bands.
Although i don’t have pictures of the band performing because i was feeling shy and I didn’t stay long enough to overcome the shyness , i still took a few pictures. It’s a nice place to do a photoshoot(I love pictures:mrgreen:) and if you like a bit of night life, it’s a  cool hangout spot for that too.
Okay enough talking, picture time.
